Intake Manifold Exhaust Block Off
Are you supposed to block off the exhaust port on the drivers side of the intake? If so why?

Some guys block the ports, (both of them) to prevent heating up the carb on their drag cars. For street driven vehicles I think it is better to leave them open. They came from the factory open and outside of a small change in the way the exhaust sounds I have never seen any benefit in blocking them.
Warm up and driveability is affected adversly with the ports blocked. Jim |
