hei looks like points
has anyone seen the hei that is made to look like points? i have been looking for one but have had no luck.. where the dam jegs mag when i need it lol.

There's a couple of them out there. You can find one or two in the summit catalog. I also saw something in a recent Classic Trucks magazine that reviewed the choices. I can try to dig them up if nobody else can help you out.

pertronics has a kit for converting a points distrib to hei they also have a variety of hei points lookin distributors

What exactly is it that you are looking for? I have a 74 corvette with points dizzy that runs the tach so I kept the dizzy and bought a pertronics unit to replace the points. Otherwise I would have just converted to a HEI ignition distributor like I have on my 1967 stepside.

I have a tach drive dizzy from a vette motor that was in a 67 swb i bought that was converted to hei 100.00 including shipping, i don't use v8's anymore and the guy that bought the motor had a msd for it. email for pics.

A stock GM marine HEI looks like points, I ran one on my 1930 Model A because a regular HEI wouldn't fit behind the 6:71 blower. I ran it for 8 years with no problems ever!!
