Minxing a front clip.

Can I use 67 fenders, radiator support and hood with a 70 grill assembly?

I don't like the turn signals in the bumper and want to use a roll pan instead of the bumper.

I also want the thinner nose profile with a cowl hood.

Thoughts?

No, the 70 grill will be too high. You will have to modify the grille or the hood.

Edit: The grill won't line up correctly with the edge of the fenders either, they aren't recessed for the newer grille.

with GMC you probably could, but on chevy I don't think the grill will work.

67 doesn't have lights in the bumper only 71-72 had that.

GMC Fenders will fit all era GMC's and 67-67 Chevys.

Chevy fenders are unique to the 67-68 and 69-72 eras.

Something close to what you're wanting to do has been done. I remember seeing a pic of a sweet looking 71 or 72 with the sloped hood on the board. I think you would see a lot of 69-72s with a sloped hoods if it were a bolt on mod. The only way I can see to do it is to modify a 67-68 hood to fit the later front clip. Not an easy mod but very cool IMHO.

Scroll down on this thread to see a Burb with a 67-68 hood and a 71-72 grill. I think it looks very unique.

Very similiar to what I want to do.

Although I want to run a 70 grill

The 67 front clip is starting to work on me though.
