Do you have any suggestions on what to use for original texture?I have all the N.O.S. pieces to build one and the fiberglas comes smooth.

Hum !!!!!! thats odd because I have built 50 or so of these and I strip them down to the bare fiberglass and all of them are textured in the fiberglass its self.
Send me some pics Dawgsfan227@cs.com and let me check what you have out and we can see what we can come up with.

It`ll be hard to get to,I`ll check into pics though.I ordered all the pieces from my Chevy dealer back in the early 80s.The parts are light grey and smooth.Maybe the texture is some kind of plastic process that I can only try to duplicate.The pieces are definately raw.
