Another Whats it Worth?

I know, I know its worth what you are willing to pay....

BUT, in NC I have a friend who has found a 70 CST, 307 SWB with 3sp. Bench seet, a good bit of surface rust, needs tires and minor work (its been parked quite a few years).

I told him 1500 - 3k depending on the amount of surface rust and even less if it is eaten up.

Did I give good advice??

if it doesnt have rust in rockers, floor pans or anything thats a major PITA to replace, then i would say 3 to even 4k is a decent price, but in CA its hard to find a decent truck with a manual tranny for a nice price. i was very lucky to find mine, and had to go 100 miles for it.

how many miles? i am assuming it wont be that much since it has been in storage.

if it has minimal rust, and only on easily replaced panels, not too many miles(does it run?), runs decent, and shifts fine, i would say 3-3.5 would be good for NC.

Short answer, yes i think you gave good advise
