1988-1998 bench install.
I installed my 98 bench back in mid july. Now that I have got around 3000 miles on the truck I find that the seat might need to be tilted back. This may sound kinda dumb but there is no thigh support

I'm about to do the same seat, just had to take it apart and paint the steel mounting brackets. I'll let you know how I make out.

I have a 92 bench and I found mine just the opposite I had to shim the rear with a couple of nylon furniture wedges with a hole drilled for the bolt and put them between the bracket and the floor. Raises the rear up about 3/16-1/4".
