I could also use the factory spark plug brackets that bolt to the back of the intake.

Thanks, Scott

Thanks jostrans68, I may have to go that route if I cant find oem supports. I'm trying to stay away from repro parts as much as I can.

Thanks, Scott

I need a set of those OEM brackets like those circled in red also. Anybody else have a pair lying around?

wire looms

After cleaning the old oil sludge off my motor I found 3, the small one was on the passenger side mounted to that last rear bolt on the intake. This is a 67 stock 283 if it matters at all. I figure a $8 Money order will more than cover shipping by USPS Priority. I'll pm my address to ya.

Hey american, thanks for the pics. I've never seen that small one before, looks like it does the job though. 1 small problem, both of those supports are for the passenger side of the motor. The drivers side has a bigger bend in it and sticks straight up when mounted on the motor. Please let me know if you have the other.

Thanks, Scott

Scott,
I had to straight bend the left one a little to fit a wrench in there. It's a real tight fit for someone with big hands like mine. I just removed them today and I took one from each side, this is a bone stock motor from the oil bath air cleaner to pan. I was going to bend it back but I figured that it would fit in a priority envelope better this way. Do you think that GM would make this two different ways for such a little piece of stamped steel? It's the same thing as GMC Pauls part # 1713723 and he is not trying to sell to two different ones either.

If you don't want them then pass it on to the next buyer please.

Americanrider, wasn't trying to piss you off. I got a set a while back and the drivers side is different than the passenger side. I'm not sure if GM would make them different or not, that's why I like this board. A lot of People that know a lot more than me about these trucks. I'll pass to Chipflyer.

Well maybe they did make two different ones. I haven't seen enough of them to really notice. No hard feelings Scott, everybody wants or likes something different and that what makes the world go 'round.

Chip, PM sent.

holders

here's what I just took off the 67 chev I'm parting out. Look close and you'll see P-pass D-drivers. If these are the 2 that you are needing $20 shipped to you. Also have heat shield type if you need them.
