checking interst in 72 4X4 Blazer

I am checking to see if there is any interest in a 72 4X4 blazer. I have one and I am thinking about ebay, but wanted to see if there was any interest in it here first. It has some rust, but not much. The rocker boxes are solid as are the floors. There is some in the tailgate, door bottoms and under the doors. I was thinking along the lines of $4500. What do you think? It has a 350/4-speed that runs and drives excellent. the options are modest except that it has a posi! The top is a single wall in great shape, but the hatch has some issues. It has been sort of repaired by screwing some sheet aluminum to it. As you can see in the picts it has a light bar as well as a roll bar and luggage rack. The tires are 33X12.5/15's and they are OK (they hold air and are not bald) It has a reciever hitch on it as well. I am looking to invest more time and $$$ in my 67 swb (you can see it in the pict next to the Blazer), so this must go. Any questions or comments, just let me know.

Mike

That sounds like a good deal...except I'm nowhere near AZ! :-( Im in GA now.

You said the rocker boxes and floors are solid does that mean they were repaired or never rusted.

What about window frame, any rust?

Do you have any interior pics? or pics of common rust areas, and pics of known rust?

What work have you done to it?

Do you know where the truck has lived before you, (has it always been in AZ?)

Would you drive it anywhere? (how about cross country)?

I'm interested. I just have to see if the trip out there would be justified. I'm in the middle of a move to AL so its not a good time but the truck certainly sounds good!

Thanks for posting

JT

blazer in AZ

I just bought one so I do not need another right now. But....I bought my parents a week stay in Tuscan the first week of december. They will be driving down.
If you still have the blazer in the middle of November let me know as they could trailer it back with them. I would have to see more pictures and do some more dreaming to know how badly I want it.

Buy it, and you can paint it pink if you want to! Ochre is cool too. Anybody? I know MN is kinda far away, but it would look good in ochre!
