footwell patches?

Can you buy footwell patch panels? How about toe pans? I need them for a 66 custom cab I'm trying to rebuild. I have looked at every vender I know of and can't find them. If you can't buy patches, does anyone have any good pieces they could cut out of an original cab?

What I mean are the footwells, the side panels on the inside of the cab where the air vents are, and the toe pans, the floor pans that start at the firewall and come back about 18" or so and join the the front floor pans. i only need about 6" or so of the footwell from the floor up. I'm sure that is all about as clear as mud.

Check Chevy Duty. LMC might carry them, but I don't think so. Not sure of either of the web sites, but you should be able to type it in your search bar.

I used 67-72 kick panels patches & made them work, from what I understand that's the best you can do. Brian

Where could one find floor panels for a 65 GMC? I mainly need the area over/around the tranny.

Kick panel patches

I fabricated my own. If you think about it, there are no real complicated bends or anything. You can get the appropriate sheet metal from Lowes, for real cheap. I just used my vise, hammer, tinsnips & pliers to do what few bends I needed. The most you can lose, if you fail (which you probably will not), is $5 or so. If you're going to start rebuilding all of that stuff down there, you're going to have to get a feel for creative patching, even if you do get preformed patch panels. I found that they are (with the exception of the ones with complicated bends, such as rocker panels) more trouble than what they are worth. Try it, you might surprise yourself.
