consoles

Just talked to an out of town wrecker that has supposedly has some consoles. I asked for 69-80 styles. He thinks he has 2 or 3. I am taking a road trip on Saturday past there and will stop and look at them.
He wants roughtly $150 CDN ($125 US) each if I pull them or $225 CDN ($190 US) each if he pulls them. Seems a bit pricey but I will save on shipping.
If I take more than one, pull them myself and pay cash it may be easier to haggle on prices.
If anyone is interested I can pull the others too.
(It's only like 4 screws or bolts to pull them right?)
No guarentees on color or condition until I see them.
Any interest?

That price seem fairly high to me too. I've seen completely refurbished ones going for around that price.

Vince, I concur that does seem pretty pricey for used unrestored consoles, you can them fully restored for 125.00 to 150.00 us dollars on the message board and ebay quite often.I have personally gotten used ones for a whole lot less.Unfortunately I sold all the ones I hadnt planned on using.

Way high price---I sell fully restored one's for $125-175. Unrestored one's can be had for a lot less.

I did say it was pricey

Yes, I do agree with everyones comments about the price. The only thing that is a killer is the shipping. One of the guys that bought a fully restored one in the Southern Us and then shipped it up here told me what he paid including shipping and it came out to to $280 CDN ($233 US).
But the good news is my thread is getting me a console up here supplied and shipped for less than the wrecker wanted.

Thanks all.

The black one is missing the holes for either the seatbelt or cup holders. Could be just a plate over the top but someone may have hacked it under their too. The red one looks like a decent deal.
