V Belt
I am having problems with my V-belt screltching. I have replaced it three times but it only helps for a few days. So today I bought a Gibbs belt, which is suppose to better. It started Screltching (don't even know if that is a word) as soon as I put it on.
Why is it doing this?

take some kind of a solid form of polish or buffing compund, and touch it to the belt(where the v is on each side) as it is running, and also make sure that the belt is aqs tight as you can get it

Your alt. or water pump bearing may be trying to lock up.

The pulleys are probably worn out.
