Neighbor sold truck/I didn`t know
I`ve been so busy this summer,I haven`t stopped by since July 4th.He sold his nice`82 ElectraGlide,his`68 Custom/10,and has his`41(?)Dodge sedan(Chevy-power)street rod for sale.He bought a new FLH Standard and is going to build a`67 the way he wants it,customized. He has a`31 Willys sedan(solid/original)for sale, too.Anyway, the truck was supposed to go last evening,so I took some fairwell shots.
That`s my dog,Buddy.He sold it for $7500:rebuilt(warm)350,TH 350,exc.mech.,non-a/c.

No,that`s what I wondered when he bought it a couple years back.No Vin-spec sheet, black upholstery(now),also it`s hard to spot, but we found red paint.

86swb the 50th anniversary they are referring to is a 68 Chevy pickup that had a exact color scheme as the one @ the top of this post. It was a anniversary special option which gave you this color combination and a different interior. One of the main differences was a different fabric on the seat covers. Usually they were well equipped trucks usually having quite a few options. There were other differences as well but I think these were the main ones.

i've found over the years that neighbors with cool vehicles seem to not want somebody close having a chance to buy thier vehicles, guess when they get rid of them they want out of sight out of mind type of closure

Yeah, that`s the way I am.He offered it to me last summer when it still had a 305.I decided I would pass to build a`67 GMC Stepside and finish-up the`72 Fleetside. We`ve swapped, sold, and built together alot.He sold his bike to a guy he works with,he doesn`t care.Well,it did seem to bother him when the guy dropped it at the end of the driveway,no damage.
