stock or aftermarket?
The 89 burb i just bought has these rims:
Are they stock or aftermarket? The spare is a 16" rim, these are 16.5". If there aftermarket anybody know what they are called/who makes them? I'd like to find one for the spare.

Howdy, neighbor! Those are definitely aftermarket. The only aluminum rims offered on the C/K-R/V trucks were the Budd-style ones with the round holes.
BTW, I managed to settle into a place over in Fentress. It's great 'cuz I'm only 4 miles to work at City Hall and I don't have to cross any drawbridges to get there!

The wheels are absolutely aftermarket. I THINK they might be made by Appliance Wheel, a manufacturer that was popular in the '70's. I have seen your particular wheel design many times in 1970's auto publications, and if I recall, most of those sightings were in Appliance advertisements. I will have to dig out some of those old magazine back issues to check for sure...

Jim, they haven't made those wheels in years. Best bet would be from someone here on the board or at Carlisle. Those look like the wheels made by Western called Hurricane's...

If they are American Racing, they are the "Vector" I had similar wheels on a 73 Corvette.

Thanks for the replys, I cleaned them up today. They look like Mark's pic now. I like the old style aluminum rims: slots and turbines. They are 8.25" wide. I'll pull one tomorrow and take a look.
