f/s step TAILGATE Genuine GM

$185 No shipping. Would consider meeting halfway in middle TN. Flawless tailgate still with box, came with truck but it's taking space in my garage.

BTW, I'm in Murfreesboro.

Are you sure that you don't want to ship it? Insurance is cheap.

Thanks.

I'll try to get a chance to weigh it over the next couple days, then maybe give ya a shipping estimate based on that, look it up on UPS or fedex.com or somewhere.

Anybody got any idea what it weighs or what it costs to ship a gate?

I want to buy it, if you can find out what shipping to 76108 would be. Or, give me the weight and your zip code and I'll find out.

Thanks.

I have noticed DHL shipping quotes to be cheaper than UPS and they are more convenient than Greyhound. Plus, they don't seem to beat the stuffings out of your boxes, like those whose name we won't mention (in the brown trucks). I have had several cases where stuff was hanging half-out of the box when it arrived, even though it was well-packed.

Thanks.

My UPS package yesterday was the first one in months that didn't have a hole in the side the size of a hand. And two days ago I heard noise outside. When I went to look, I watched the UPS guy in my neighbors driveway throwing packages from the back of his truck to the front. Boom, boom. I could hear it from inside my house.

FedEx is in my experience much cheaper than UPS on shipping large or heavy items like a tailgate. I don't have any experience with DHL but with them being the new kid in town they might be cheaper in order to get business away from Fedex and UPS.
