68 Transfer Case Question

I am in the process of putting the transmission/transfer case in my GMC. When I bought the truck it was dissassembled ......so, I'm trying to figure it out. If anyone has pictures or diagrams of how and where the linkage goes I would sure appreciate the info. Transmission is a 3-speed and t/c is a Rockwell. This thing was a mess when I got it, I have found most of the linkage....at least I think so. I just need the know if I have all the nessesary parts to finish it.

I don't know how different my old setup was, but I had a SM465 4 speed married to the Rockwell. It had a two piece stamped steel bracket bolted to the adapter housing, and the shift lever pivoted on the bracket. I can try to find a pic of it.

Lo and behold, I actually uploaded the pics I took of the adapter to my yahoo photo page (in my profile). Here is a link to my transfer case swap page, the adapter pics are towards the end:click

Thanks for the pics!!! I did a mock up the other night, and had it right. I just needed to know if there was some sort of bushing missing ...especially on the bolt where the shifter connects to the lever on the t/c. Best I can tell from the pictures, there isn't one there. Again Thanks!!!

another problem....

I have a big leak. I have oil coming from up in the T/C mount while the engine is running. Other than there being a crack, Why would oil be coming out from up in there??

Not sure I understand where it is leaking. Is it coming out the side of the case where the bracket attaches to the t/c and the frame? I'm pretty sure those are blind holes so doesn't sound good.

I think we figured it out.

There appears to be 2 seals in the "adapter" for a 3 speed. I just had the one by the transfer case. Thanks for the help.
