horn problems in my tilt column
Is the horn cam differnt between tilt and non tilt columns? My tilt column does not have a horn cam. trying to get horn working do I can get the ol dog inspected. I'm using an early 90's steering wheel and a factory truck tilt(that I found in a recking yard for 50 bucks). Any suggestions? Help please
Thanks Josh

Heres a thread by Longhorn Man that covers later wheels. I dont believe your part will work in tilt. Also your tilt will have a spring under the horn cam, where your std column willbe tapered. John

Buy a cheap horn button to get the truck inspected and then worry about the problem

Glad to hear you have it up and going. Glad also we do not have any kind of inspections around here where I live in Kentucky. But everthing does work in my trucks. Just do not like the hassel.
