I think there is one in a field outside of Eugene Oregon rusting away. I've seen them before as "airport" limos. Most of them were internationals, but I've seen the older early '60 'burbs too. I remember seeing pictures of a '30s or '40s suburban for Yosemite posted someplace - maybe on this board?

We were in Auburn, IN at Kruse Collector Car Auction, there was a 63-66 Chevy pickup as long as this one in the car corral, was a crew cab with loooong extended bed, same wheelbase I'm thinking, price was around 9500 but my memory is failing LOL, dang I should have taken my digicam. Was a lot of nice 67-72 trucks also.

I owned a 66 GMC Suburban with 305 V6 with 4 spd. The pistons in the V6 are huge. 305 cubic inches with only 6 cylinders. the engine produces loads of tork. That engine was used in alot of early 60's GMC 1 ton and up dump trucks. It can handle large loads easily. I'm sure it had no problem hauling a bunch of tourist around. B.B.

What do you do with this Limo?

I do like the possibility of a sliding ragtop ala VW, but really!!!

It's like my neighbor who just bought a Packard BUS from Canada, having a super long connecting rod 4-Cylinder!
Just what do you really do with it?
Maybe Rick @ Rick's Pick-up Parts could re-do it and use it as a demo for advertising ALL of his resto and orig parts as he travels the southwest!!!
