Cruise Control Help

PO took out most of the cruise control parts out from under the hood of my 1986 Chevy and I was wondering if anyone has pictures of the cruise set-up in our trucks. I am getting all the parts I will need but just do not know where they go in the engine compartment. Also how they hook up. Any help would be appreciated.

I might have some pics I took when I pulled my engine apart. I'll take a look when I get home. You know how bad I am about following up on this stuff, so PM me if you don't hear anything.

If I have to, I can take some pics of the underhood stuff.

not sure about your set up, my 82 had a box on the drivers side fender, the speedo cable from the gauge goes to the box, then another speedo cable goes to the trans. There is a diaphram that mounts to the back of the intake manifold that connects to the carb, it is vac. operated.. as far as the hoses i dont have a clue, but those should be the 2 main components...

The '86 is different. It does not use the box on the fender.

Slonaker, not to worry. I am bad about that myself. PM me your e-mail again. I can not find the one you gave me. My daughter and soon to be Son-in-Law said they would like to get in touch with you so you can help them when they move to San Antonio. When I say help, I do not mean unloading the trailer and moving them in or anything like that but help them to get to know places ect. around San Antonio. They also told me to tell you that they really appreciate your help.

Would one work off of an '85 C-10? It does have a red box of some kind.
