KEWL! Can you post more pics of it? My son wants to do his 69 in black primer with green wheels too. Id love to be able to show him what it will look like & dont worry we live in NW Iowa so I doubt we would run into each other on the street. Thanks for posting the pics...corn

Since this is back at the top again I guess I should update. This weekend I got the motor installed with help from the wife and a couple friends. It is a 9:1 355, nothing fancy, we need mileage out of it. Last week we met with the guy who will be doing the hand lettering and pinstriping to brainstorm ideas. As soon as she figures out would she wants we will have the guy get started. I'll keep this updated with pics. Thanks for all the compliments.

Sounds like you making good progress and have the right person involved.

When I was at the GoodGuys West Coast Nationals I saw a true RatRod that had signs painted on both doors and they looked like they were very old though very legible. Did anyone that went to the show take pictures of this truck? It was out by the south-east gate.

What color is the block? Silver air cleaner lid with the business name, maybe? If you install power brakes she will love you even more

tomato, the paint color is called grabber green. It was an actual engine paint I found at auto zone. It matches the wheels exactly. I have a power brake set up for it but I'm gonna put the TH350 in first. I think she will be calling the pinstripe guy to set up an appointment sometime next week. I'll keep you posted.
