68-72 Clear Standard Sidemarker
Well we were finally able to get a supplier to make a 68-72 Clear standard sidemarker, bad news is they are no good. They kept the backside made of the tan/brown plastic material like the originals and it shows through the clear lense plainly and stands out BIG TIME INSTALLED. So the 100sets we just received are headed back to the supplier with the recommendation for them to either chrome or use white plastic to form the backside of them. So if you see someone list these be warned it'll look like a clear lenses backed in Tan with tan trim when installed.

Hey what if you pop the lens off a paint the inside white? I did that on my originals to help make them a little brighter. Used glue and clamps to put them back together. Lamar.

That's a great idea to freshen up some old lenses but I wouldn't want to have to that on new lenses. I have some old ones in the garage I will try that on. Thanks for the heads up Paul.

Well I wouldn't want to have to on new ones either, but for the right price it might be worth it. Also if you are going to refresh some old ones, I have a color here that matches the brown on the inside and out of the marker lights. Let me know if you are interested and I'll find it and get you the info on the can. Lamar.
