A few progress pics of my 69
I told you Id post some pictures of my newly aquired 69, so heres some of the progress Ive made. I installed a set of 3" ground force springs in the front but need to flip the rear yet. New 350 motor bolted to the 400 turbo & almost ready to fire. I repainted the dash cluster & installed some cheapo aftermarket gages. Im sure Ill have a bunch of dumb questions as I go...
Oh ya, the truck is a factory 396 bucket/console truck but the big block is in my 84 shortbox. I may have to swap them back someday now that the 69 is mine again...corn Last edited by corn; 09-16-2007 at 06:51 PM. |

Great Progress. Are you mounting anything in the empty hole in the cluster?

Ya, I made a plate & have a nice toggle to fill the hole. Then all I have to do is figure out what to hook the switch up to...corn

Lookin good.
You don't want a tach strapped to the column...at night the reflection of the light would be RIGHT in the center of the drivers side glass....where you are trying to look through. |
