68 vs 72 doors
i believe i know most of the differences between the two doors. im wondering if you replace the complete 72 inner door mechanics with the one from a 68 will the 68 door panel then match up to the indentation of the 72 door?

Yes I have swapped inner door guts from 71 and eariler to 72 doors and the only problem is 72 door pannels will rub the window crank because of the difference in shaft lenght...Therefore you have to run the earily door pannel's..

72 has an extra screw on the inside under the wing glass area. Not sure if that will create a problem or not.
