What is this behind the gage?

Was just wondering what this is for and what does it plug into. Looks like it plugs into something.

Yes, that's a speedsensor. You need it for the original cruisecontrol.

OK, I do have the original cruisecontrol but some of the parts under the hood is missing so it is not working at the moment. But I am working on that. The PO did some crazy things. Instead of fixing something he just sometimes took it off or out. The turn signals were missing and when I took the grill out the bulbs were just taped to part of the truck and the bulbs were blinking but he took (for some unknown reason) the lenses off of the grill. I had to buy new ones and was an easy fix. I have to have everything right. Thanks for the help guys!

It sounds like he did some of the work on mine, too...

I just can not understand to save me why some people just do not fix things on their car or truck when it quits, breaks or what ever? But to leave two bumper brackets off the bumper and to take out the turn signal lenses behind the grill and to tape the wires and bulbs (still working mind you) down, well, just do not understand. I have replaced and fixed all. I just like everthing to work and I do not use bailing wire to fix things. But he did change the oil, filter and all that. That was a suprise. He kept good records on this. But when I bought the truck I got him down because of all the little things I needed to do to get the truck up to par. So that was good. Sorry, just had to vent a little more.
