4 Blazers found

I found 3 Blazers and 1 Jimmy locally and was wondering if you guys could tell me what they might be worth. I know I should have pictures, but I don't. I'll try to explain them for you, bare with me.

#1 is a 72 with the buckets still there, a/c dash, very little rust (just the rockers and a little on the front floor pans), factory roll bar, trashed top, no back seat, no motor, 4 speed, no rear end.

#2 is one I haven't gotten to view yet.

#3 is a 71 with a trashed body, no rust but lots of damage, bucket seats, no back seat, no console, no a/c, no top, factory roll bar, no hood, no tailgate, all the running gear is there, no motor or tranny.

#4 is the Jimmy, 1970 or so, a/c cab (uncut) very little rust, no motor or tranny, no hood, trashed top, good tub, good tailgate, all running gear present, bucket seats, no back seat.

I know I need pics, but if you guys could ballpark it for me that would be great. I am going to try and buy all 4 plus about 5 or 6 67-72 trucks from him. I will be talking to him tomorrow, so quick input would help. Thanks in advance.

I would offer $1,000 for all four. They might be worth more, but with no pictures that's all I would go. Sounds like a couple may be not even be worth it if they were free, again, impossible to tell that without pictures so I am going off description, and thinking worst case.

No way to tell without pics! Even with pics it's difficult because there are never enough pics or detailed enough.

I was thinking $800.00 for all four.
It's going to take all four to make one from the sounds of it.

You say "very little rust" - just beware, these blazers/jimmy's hide it very very well.

Best of luck, sounds like a great find, I'd buy all four for sure.

Blazers value

I typically will pay up to $800. for a complete Blazer if well optioned but rusted out. IF stripped out but solid tub, body---depends on condition. As mentioned, rust on a Blazer is much worse then on a truck and like an iceburg, what you see is just the smallest part with lots more hidden.
The B pillar hides rust very well with no factory access point to prevent it! SAme with the floor supports inside the torsion boxes. I would tend to consider the sum of the parts minus the cost and hassle to part out and sell. With gas at $3.+ a gallon, I am seeing a softening in the classic truck/blazer buying market as evidenced by several board members wanting to sell off their stuff in bulk and getting out of the hobby. All conderations!!

I'm glad I asked you guys, I probably would have paid too much. I had no idea about the rust issues since I have never owned or built one of these. I have always wanted one and probably would have let that desire blur my judgement. I was thinking the same thing about all four making one and that was what I was going to try and do. I will look closer today and if I can I will take my camara and post some pics.

Okay, I bought all 4. The one I hadn't seen was a 2wd but it has been hit pretty bad . I'm hoping to save the frame. I'll post pics as soon as I get them home. I will be parting what I don't need.
