Cool Tires & Wheels

I got some freebie 1989 Rallys for my truck. Need to swap tires on to them. Need a tire wheel chart or advice on whether a 235/75R-15 will fit the 15x8 or 15x10 rally??? Not certain of width.

Any advice?

thanks!

If you're looking for a conservative look, but better than stock.
I personally think the 255/60-15 looks great on a 15x8 rally wheel.
That's what I had before going to 15x10 and 275/60-15's.

I got 275-60's on my 15x8 rallys/love 'em....look awesome! I am pretty sure this size is not a problem on the 15x8's...at least at the Kar Kare tire place they mounted and balanced just fine and look awesome! Good tire width and look fat! Love 'em!

255 60 15 on the front 15x8's, 275 60 15 on the rear 15x8's.
The 275's look pretty meatty!

A 235/75R15 will fit on the 8" wide rally. Check out the tire rack to search for various tire sizes. Once you get a tire listing, select a specific tire and then check out its' specs. The manufacturer should list the recommended rim width for their specific tires. For the 255/60R15s that the guys listed, the 8" rally matches the closest to the tread width. For the 275/60R15s, either the 8" or 10" rallys will work.

I don't think there was a factory 10" Rally wheel for our trucks. It is probably 8" or narrower. The 235 should fit okay, though. It will just look really small on your truck.

You would be best if it is an 8" to go with the 255's. That is what I have on mine.

Small is better than nothing. Although, I'm trying to sweet talk my neighbor out of the 33/12.50-15's that are on there. He wants the tires, but not the rally's.

$50 bucks and a sixer may do it . . .
