Very Nice. How far did you drop it and what size tires and wheels are you running?

That's a good looking truck. The stance is just about perfect.

Nice lookin' truck. The stance is perfect. Thanks for the closeups of your fuel door. Do you think a stock chrome bumper would interfere with the door opening all the way? I want to do mine like yours, but I have a bumper.
Thanks!

Nice trick with the tail light.
I guess you are slowly getting rid of the green interior in your truck too. It probably looked alright in '69 when my truck was built but it sure looks bad (to me) now. Right on, post more when you have it.

Thanks for all the compliments. The truck has a 3/5 drop. The wheels are American Racing torque thrust II, 15x8 with 255/60 in front, 15x10 with 295/50 in rear. I have 350 with a 6-speed trans, with 373 gears (plan on 410s later). The gas tank filler, well the hindge is a gas fill door off a 94 s10 truck (made to fit). This took along time to get the light adjusted right, so it would open and close without hitting on top or bottom. I also had to do some trimming on the bottom of the light and the bottom of the hole. The neck is also off a 94 s10 truck. The filler neck has to stay close to the bottom of the bed. This mod wasn't easy. You have to cut out most of the stake pocket and the cross sill on the bed. The only problem is, when I pump gas into it, I can't hold it full throttle, only about 1/2 to 3/4 or it will back up and shut the pump off(its not bad, just takes a little longer at the pump), it needs to be raised a little (haven't had time to work on it). When I get a chance, I'll take more pitchers of it and go into more details.

Congrats on the fuel filler. I know that is not an easy thing to figure out. I worked at mine for about two weeks trying to see what would be the easiest. I gave up on that when found a different location for my filler. Mario was another guy trying to get that type of fuel filler and I think he quit too. Again good job on that, and I was wondering how well that would fill up (without stopping the pump). I am hoping that my filler will not give me any fast fill problems.....

That's nice! I want to do that tail light filler on my Panel. Are there any concerns with sparks while fueling? Explosion-proof light fixtures, maybe?
