Repro windshield frame/WTB one?

'71 K5 I just bought has a trashed windshield frame...do any aftermarket manufacturers sell a reproduction windshield frame so I could get a rust-free one?

If not, does anybody have one they'd be interested in selling? Right now my truck isn't streetable the rust is so bad I'm worried about the windshield flying back and smacking me in the face.

Also, search is down and google didn't help me any, any good how-to threads on replacing the windshield frames for one of our trucks?

I just need the windshield frame, my firewall is alright - and shipping KY-MN would kill me on something that big. Thanks for the offer though.

Just depends on how you ship it. Forward-air is CHEAP! www.forwardair.com Two years ago I shipped a crate from FL to TX in 2 days, 526 lbs for $125.

Since my firewall is OK (at least compared to the windshield frame, lol) and my windshield isn't broken I don't really want to pay a hundo+ for shipping when I'm just going to cut it apart and not use most of it anyway..

I just happen to have one of those darn things. But it is all one piece, firewall and all. I am 30 miles west of MPLS/ST PAUL. And just so I don't make Chris a big fat liar, I will give you $100 off what I have seen these sell for just because of the color OCHRE. That or you should sell me your blazer as long as that is origin the Ochre of name.
