Convert coil spring rear end to leaf spring

What do I need to do to convert an eight bolt coil spring rear end to an eight bolt leaf spring rear end? I have the coil spring rear end and another frame that has the leaf spring on it. Where do I get the parts? Is anyone interested in swapping a rolling all coil drum brake chassis for a leaf spring rear end. I would only need the leaf spring drum to drum rear end and ubolt set-up.Thanks
Don in MN

My question is why would you want to do that. The coil is better in just about evey way imaginable.
I'm actually thinking of making my longhorn a 1/2 ton, and if i do, it'll get coils... no way around it.

With that being said, what parts would you need if you have a frame with leaf springs on it already? other than new bolts, all the parts would be right there.
And this 8 bolt rear...what rear is this? is this a c/10 or a c/20?

I think he means a 8 lug rear. Coil rears handle funky with a heavy load like a camper. Give me leafs anyday.

8 Bolt rear end.

I have a Longhorn that set up for a leaf spring rear end but the rear end is missing. All it has is the leafs mounted to the frame. Does the leaf spring R E have mounting plates that the leafs mount on? I think I need the brackets that the U bolts go through. Is there anything that needs to be attached to the R E such as spring mounts? Yes I am looking for an eight lug rear end.

cut the pads off your rear and buy leaf spring pads for the leafs and weld them on. Also you will need to weld on mounts for the shocks.
