What later model power sterring gear will bolt up to a 66 column shaft? Or how did you complete this task?
thanks |

none will bolt up. you can use the "rez"conversion kit to use a 71-87 power steering box.it requires minor welding.

Brothers sells a kit that requires no welding, just have to drill one extra hold in the frame

I believe the welding zenish was reffering to is when you cut the steering column rod....due to the power steering box being longer than the manual box...

I believe that Brothers kit and the Rez Engineering are the same thing. Check out www.americanclassic.com, I remember seeing they have pre-made column shafts the right length, so you don't have to cut up yours if you aren't experienced at welding.

I never welded anything. I put on the rez eng kit with a mid 85's box and used a stock intermediate shaft (the collapsible type) new rag joint. 68 tilt column
