The person that they are pending to lives in Texas and shipping there was $42.53. If he doesn't get them, your next in line and I'd go $130 shipped if your still interested then. |

Will that hurt anything having those holes there? Won't it leak some oil and splash it round all over my carb?

Muddy...Thanks for all the trouble in getting the pics. Estimating your measurements and a little calculation, that seems to be an 18" dia. fan. It seems like I would need somewhere around a 20" fan for my c20 Sub w/ A/C and a 454, but I have nothing to compare it to at the moment because the prev. owner installed a flex fan and spacer which is around 18" and I have plenty of room left in the shroud. I've seen 454 clutch fans on ebay with 7 blades (no measurement, or exact application mentioned). My plan was to buy a new clutch fan assembly but online parts stores seem to only carry a new clutch or a flexfan blade so my next option is to buy a used clutch fan blade and a new clutch. Anyway, what I need to do is find someone with the same application first to make sure I know what I exactly need. I might post a question in the message board, if I can't find someone locally. If anyone else wants fan go ahead and offer it to them.

Muddy...I was able to find a source of a new clutch type fan blades that fit my exact application from a local parts store. They also have the matching clutch in stock. I was planning to use a new clutch anyway even if I got a used fan. So, I won't be needing yours anymore if they could get the blades from the supplier and it is correct. If it ends up being another flex fan what do you want shipped for the fan without the clutch.

My new fan arrived and it's not a flex fan and it mates up to the new clutch. That pasrt good, but the box says not to use with anything larger than a 4.1 engine
I checked their application and it calls for the correct numbers. Their flexfan for a bigblock also said "not for use with engine larger than a 4.1. Neither the clutch or fan came with any hardware, so I have to purchase all the nuts bolts and studs to mount and make sure everything lines up ok. TTT
