1967 Chevy truck Seatbelt question

Hi All,

Does anyong have a photo of a 67-68 chevy truck seatbelt that is either NOS, or restored? I am trying to figure out if the chevy emblem on the latch is supposed to be painted along with the top of the latch. The bottom of the latch is chrome. On mine, I can't tell.

I hope this answers you question.... on my '67 the bow tie emblem was painted the same color as the buckle. I just recently sent my set off to be restored, so I can't help you with pictures right now.

That is what I was thinking as well (that the emblem is painted).

I am entertaining the idea of polishing up the emblem after the rest of the latch is painted. I have yet to see a good latch that did not have the paint chipped off.
