WTB Heater Control Mechanism

I would like to buy the heater control mechanism for my 72 Cheyenne. It does not have A/C. I am talking about the assembly that has the heater control levers in it and also the fan switch. I don't need the switch, but I do need the assembly. My temperature control lever is broken off.

I have one I'll sell you $20 + ride. It's not show quality but it works. I can get you some pics if you like. I live in Gulfport and work for the phone company and we are working 12+ hour days 13 days on 1 off. I think I can get a picture in the morning before I leave if you like?

Might have what you need....

I have this...
Maybe between this and what you have might work for you.
The control in the left is gone (using it in my new one.)
Also, the top lever control is broken, but it has been put in working condition with a little fabricated/riveted bandaid.

If it will work for you...PM me...

cgrossl,

I went to the salvage yard today and got the wiring harness that goes from the heater switch to the fan. I took my camera with me. These aren't mine, but I can get one for you. The guy wants $20 a piece.

Dan,
The one in the picture looks fine to me. How much do you want for one, shipped to Lexington, KY 40517?

Cgrossl, I think the PO has a Priorty Mail Package that it will fit in that is 7.70 to anywhere in the US. So, total would be 27.70.

When do you need it by? The parts yard is 40 miles away. If I can get him to pull it for me, my wife could probably pick it up Monday or Tuesday.

Dan,
I am in no hurry. Don't make a special trip for me. This truck just sits in the garage most of the time. I would like to get this fixed sometime before winter so I have some heat if I need it.

I hate to say something and then take it back, but I haven't got any confirmation on buying the mechanism for $50 yet so I think that I am still good.

Anyway, I just found the rebuild kit with all new levers and the new front for $20 so I think that I am going to go that route.

Thanks for all of the responses though.

Cgrossl,

Hey, I got the one from the salvage yard. It's the one in the white truck. The one in the blue had a rivet loose on the back. I got it for $15. So, if you still want it, it will be $22.70 shipped.

If not, let me know and I'll put it on the board. Someone else might want it.

For that price, I can't pass it up. I'll take it. I sent you a PM so we can complete the transaction.
