G-86 Max-Traction axle
Went yard hunting for a few hours today and ran accross a GMC 2500 2wd. After checking the option list on the glove box I saw this:
G-86 Max Traction rear axle Is this GMC lingo for No-spin?

I would guess that the truck has a Dana 60 rear, and that is the Dana limited slip (trak-lock?). It is not a locker like the No-spin.

Cluth style posi package..still good to have. Looks like a bigger one than the 1/2 ton style clutch pack type. I'd grab it...should work on either the 3.54 ratio or 4.10 ratio.

It is a power-lock posi, I'd grab it if you could get it cheap enough.
