Glove box Stereo install ?

About 8 -12 months ago there was a thread about installing your stereo into the glove box, can someone let me know the best way to do this ( I think it was installed into the lining of one with the air conditioner style liner ? ) any help on this would be greatly appreciated. I have misplaced the info I had previously printed off.

I may have been the one who posted the one you saw several months ago. I will check my computer at home and see if I still have pics. I no longer have that setup in my truck. Like that pic shows, I cut it in the middle and built a cage to hold the radio. The cage had "L" brackets riveted to it and the cardboard. I then had a piece of ABS plastic covering the cardboard to hide the rivets. I installed a new cd player in my standard glovebox but haven't decided on how I want to box this one in yet.

EROC- where did you get the under dash bracket?

How about doing a write up for the FAQ board for us, that's a good looking setup.

70 C10, Crutchfield sells them for like $19.99 or they're free if you buy a new stereo. Eric
