closed cell foam...
Where do I start looking for some closed cell foam? I want to try my hand at some door panels and just want to know where to start. I have access to the adhesive and the fiberboard. I guess I would get tweed at a fabric place... or can I get both at the same place?

Should be a standard stocking item at a good upholstery place. Also, for a 'softer' look on your sculpting, you can use headliner material instead of the closed cell foam. It usually comes in 2 thicknesses. Leave the color material in place and glue it down on the foam side. Then do your trimming and go from there.
