Send me pics of glovebox option stickers...PLEASE

I had another thread (listed under 4wd) where people sent me about 30 pics of different glovebox options stickers. I'm making a list of all options on our trucks for those of us that need to make a new sticker. If you have a pic or even 20 pics of these options stickers, PLEASE send me a good readable copy. I have posted the list so far on another thread. Maybe later we can list this on FAQ or somewhere easy to find. Link to other thread....

THANKS, Greg

Why not just have them order a RESTORATION PACKET right from GM ... has most every RPO offered. Some of the odd ball stuff is missing, but I'd say 90% of what you'd want to put on your SPID label would be in the packet.

Oh yeah, it's free for us in the US....something like 50 loonies in Canada.

That's a good idea, I forgot about those. Of course, some people want the stickers to match the truck after they add options. Are the RPO codes listed for all Chevys or just the 10-30 series trucks? Greg

Here's mine. Nothing unusual on it.

A few of those things no longer match, like the long wheelbase and rear leaf springs. I'm lucky the California DMV didn't check the chassis VIN when I registered my truck.

10 - 30 series only. There is some info on the bigger trucks in one or two years of the catalog, however, mostly 10 - 30.

Here is one. I believe some of the options was only found on export trucks, like U18 KILO SPEEDOMETER.

Cornfed63, is that picture you posted for you 1969 CST? Someone must have swapped out the 396 CI that came with it, bummer.

I have never seen a build sheet in the format such as yours posted. Could you post or email me (roger0080@netscape.net) a larger, clearer picture of the whole sheet ???? I would appreciated it.

What mfg plant did it come from (the vin would tell you) ??

Thanks,
-Roger

Ill e it to you in a little while. I have the original 396, its in my 84. My 69 is my daily driver right now so the big block will probably go back in later. The big block has had a few bucks done with the internals (if you know what I mean) & its not real gas friendly right now. Ill get on here later & send the full size pic. Thanks for the interest...corn

For the '69 models, I have the Dealer Sales Manual. It has all of the options listed for '69, effective April 1, 1969. Model numbers, dimensions, you name it, it's in there.

I assume your intention is to see what is on the data sheets, then make up your list from them, right? You're gonna be a busy boy, for sure. But, it might take longer to find and buy all of the sales manuals for the years you're doing.

Good luck.

Does anyone know what the original official font was called? I assume these were done on old typewriters, correct?
