looking for a picture or two of a 67-72 center console

Like the title says, I am looking for a pic or two of a center console from a 67-72 GM truck. I would prefer the pics to be of consoles not in the truck...but anything you have will be appreciated. Also, I would like to use one of the pics in an article I am writing for 73-87.com.

Also, if you happen to have any pics of 81+ consoles, that would be great too.

Thanks!

I think I have the 67-80 consoles covered, now I just need a pic of an 81 up model. The pic posted by demi was perfect, so something similar would work best.

67 and 68 had the buddy seats and not the plastic console like all of the later years...but you already knew that, right?

Actually, no I didn't.

SO, these consoles first came out in '69?

I've read posts on here talking about an extra floor/cab support for bucket seat equipped trucks. I don't know if it's the same on the 73 up trucks, but you might want to look into that.
Good job on the article.

I believe 69 was the first year for the consoles. Check this link for a pic of the 67-68 buddy buckets.

Cool, thanks for the info fellas.

I got the article fixed on the year mixup with the consoles...now I just need a pic of an 81 console.

Al, 73-87's dont have any extra bracing for bucket seats...the only difference is on buckets, there are well nuts welded to the floor for the seat brackets to bolt to. If you are putting buckets into an original bench seat truck, you will have to weld in well nuts or drill out the hole and use washers and bolts to bolt the brackets down.

GM started making these trucks more and more alike (as the years went on) and as generic as possible so different options could be added without having to make any extra steps or add any new parts. Eventually everything basically became a trim package (in the 80's) and you couldn't even get some of these options (like buckets, tachs, and such).
