New Exhaust w/ pics
Here's pics of my new exhaust for anyone who's shopping. Everything but the headers was installed today. These are Summit brand ceramic coated headers, stainless steel Magniflow mufflers and 2 1/4" pipe, and I think the tips are 3".
It has just the sound I was looking for - nice deep rumble on idle but not loud, and stays quiet on part throttle. But if you give it hard throttle those mufflers really wake up. The back end looks a little goofy without the bumper, but I had to pull my old beater bumper off for the pics. Couldn't stand a rusty bumper on a fresh paint job. Chrome bumper on its way... |

WOW, looks sweet. I bet it sounds as good as it looks!
Hey, you wouldn't happen to have one of those left side gravel shields laying around, would you? Just thought I'd ask.

Nice lookin' headers. Any clearance problems at all? Are you happy with 'em?

Just FYI...
Those Summit brand headers are re-boxed Dynomax brand units. On my Summit headers, the Dynomax part number is stamped on each, down by the collector. When I first got them, I looked that part number up on each header manufacturer website trying to figure out who made them for Summit, and sure enough, that's the catalog part number for Dynomax, Chevy truck, small block headers.
