Question 72 Rear Leaf Spring bolt removal, Help!

72 Rear Leaf Spring bolt removal, Help!

Seems the bolts wont loosen up when I try to remove them.
Anybody have any suggestions?
I tried heating up the bolts with a torch tip on a BBQ propane bottle, no luck!

Question

Now Ill need to replace the metal lines too, anybody reproduce these?
Unfortunately it has the 14-bolt corporate axle and I assume that the lines may be different from the original axle!??
Also need the fabric diverter lines as well; is this still being made?

You could try a product called "Bitron" it is by far the best thing I've ever used on nuts/bolts... I have never seen it fail, the only problem is its hard to find. I recently bought a product called "Gibbs" which is pretty good also (just go googling & you will find it). If you have no air supply (compressor) try using a 1/2" drive socket and the longest extentions you have with a breaker bar and a long pipe over the handle. If you break the bolt (no big deal) just make sure you replace it with the same grade bolt for your application. Hope this helps, Doug
