Another new guy
My first truck was a 1967 Chevrolet C20 with a straight six, three on the tree, no radio and no A/C that I drove back in the mid 70s.
I am now the proud owner of a 1983 K20 4x4 that I think is a "Camper Special", because it has a little teepee logo on the door pillar. We are going to get it in a bit better running shape and build it into a mud truck/hunting truck. I have lurked here a little since buying this truck a week ago, and am impressed with the collective knowledge of this board, and look forward to learning a lot here. Regards, Bud |

Thanks for the welcome, guys. I'll get my kids to take a "before" photo and help me post it here. I am not the most computer literate fellow that you will find...

There certainly are lot's of big deer out here. We have a few out on our place, but in looking around, it appears that the preferred method of deer hunting is not with a bow or a rifle, but with an automobile. I'm not kidding, there is a regular section of the local weekly paper dedicated to deer/auto accidents.

Welcome to the board and we to have the deer/auto problem in south Arkansas. Insurance companies just love us.That is just another reason for old trucks, they don't bend as easy.
