Trans question
Since the blazer forum is slow I hope you all will help me. The 700R4 in my 1985 blazer is going out. I have a chance to get a fresh rebuilt th400 cheap. What would be involved in this swap? The blazer has the stock np208 transfer case. Thanks in advane for your help.

Well you'd need a th400-208 adapter, shouldn't be too hard to find and a np208 for a th400, as the 208s had different input splines depending on the tranny, I believe the 700r4 had 27? and the turbo 400 version had 32. (for info the manual tranny 208s had 10 splines)
