Damn Nice man!

Just one question... How come you decided to section the crossmember like you did?? Was this to keep the engine in the stock location even after you Z'd the frame?

I suction my crossmember like that because I zed the frame 4inches. I wanted to keep the motor in the closest to stock position that I could. I ended up making my own engine mounts and the motor is now about 3/4 inch higher than it was stock. It ended out working perfect except of the now tranny tunnel I have to make because of the 6speed.

layinrocker65,
nice.

the heading at the top(on cardomain page) reads '65 chevrolet' but it's got the gmc grill and tailgate...

did you swap some parts around, or is it a gmc?

whoa dude, you live in the next town over from me...that a pretty sick truck. I cant wait to see that driving around. Do T-56's bolt up to the regular small block? or are you going to be modifying that?

that thing is sick.

the truck is a GMC. I put it in the chevy section because theres more trucks there. The t56 bellhousing bolt right up to the back of a small block if you get a bellhousing off of a lt1 camaro. The fly wheel is different though because of the 2 piece rear mail seal and the 1 piece that the camaro has. I got my flywheel off of centerforce. The starter is one wire out of the camaro too. The biggest problem was the clutch line and petal. THe line off the camaro is one piece that is hard to modify. The master, line and slave have pins that hold all of them together. Used the petal off the camaro with it mounted to the bottom of my steering colum. The shifter ended up being leg hight, about 3inch back from my knee.
