Whos truck is this? What size drop is on it? And what size wheels and tires are on it? Are there any rubbing issues or anything?

Yea, that's my truck. No rubbing or other problems. No weird tire wear. Good alignment. Has the following parts:
3 inch drop spindles. Bought from Brothers. Tubular control arms. Bought from Brothers. DJM front 3 inch drop springs DJM rear 4 inch drop springs ECE adjustable trackarm Chisholm drop shocks 2 of each # ATG-10 and #ATG-2 2 inch lowering blocks. Home made. 15X7 with BFG 235/60R15 front 15X10 with BFG P345/55R-15 Drag Radials |

Does the truck ride good when you lower it? I know it sure looks good. I am not much on lowering trucks but I was behind some boys the other day and when they hit a bumb it looked like there heads were going to go through the roof. Maby they just did something wrong when they lowered it?

About 6 months ago I was driving down the highway next to a Honda Civic that was lowered. The back wheel on the Honda jumped about 6 inches off the ground when it went over a somewhat harsh transition onto an overpass.
The bottom line is that you sacrifice comfort for style & handling when you lower a vehicle. There's no way around it. I drove a lowered truck for about 12 years. The truck I have now has stock suspension and it is so much more comfortable to drive. I'm going to leave it that way. I think trucks look way better lowered, but personally I no longer think it's worth it. I guess I'm getting old.

No air ride. Maybe that was the problem. I had 4" lowered springs in the back, and tubular control arms in the front with 1.5" lowered springs.

If you go the cheap way out when you lower any car or truck you will have problems. Heating coils, cutting coils ect will make for a rough ride. Dropped spindles don't change anything but the height. The suspension geometry is the same. Dropped coils are specifically made to have a lower ride height but still keep a decent ride. Adding shorter shocks helps the ride as well. This truck dosen't ride as good as a rebuilt stock suspension but still is very driveable and dosen't rattle your teeth out of your head. The only thing that would keep me from using it to carry heavy loads is the rear tire size. If I switch to a smaller tire I can carry pretty much what ever I want. Those rear tires are just about wall to wall since I'm more worried about traction that carrying weight. I have another truck if I need to haul stuff around. Couple more pics also.

Ratrod67, you didn't buy that truck in, or know if it came from Oklahoma? Looks exactly like one of my old trucks. I know there are thousands of that color combo running around, but it looks like a ding in the grille shell near the driver side, just like my truck had.
