I did not know that. I assumed since my truck was an ex-municipal or fleet vehicle, with radio delete, manual everything, 7.00x17.5 rims [so employees wouldn't steal tires] SM465 and 292 L6, that the chrome trim [actually anodized aluminum] was standard. Maybe they got carried away one sunny day at Fremont. Who will ever know? I will say I've never seen a natural '68 w/o the gingerbread, but I'm not infallable.
