Flatbed conversion

Hello;
this is my first post here.
I have a 1967 3/4 ton and a 1971 3/4 ton.

The 67 is a rough daily driver and the 71 is "new" to me anyway.
Its bed is very rough, it used to have a crane in it, now there is a big hole.
Also the tailgate and all it's HW is missing and the bumper is bent.

So I am planning to make it a dumping flatbed.

Has anyone done this?
Any advice?
I have a TH400 in it now but just picked up a SM465 with PTO.

Thanks
Mick M (Puyallup WA)
