Here's mine;
And the foam does catch fire. i seen one burn to the ground. The day I saw that, i ripped mine off and drove without untill I had the time to replace it with this one here. Oh, BTW, I have a flat hood and no problems. i even have a figher intake now. (performer RPM) ------------------ '69 G.M.C. 350/350. Trying to clean up the left over damage from the Dope-Smokin-Old-Man I've been dubbed the Longhorn Freak/Fanatic/Expert, I just hope I can live up to it. i have the taller edelbrock perofmer manifold, 1" carb spacer and 3-4" air cleaner spacer 14x3 element and it still all fits under hood with ROOM TO SPARE i bet i could run a 14x6 as is
