Those things never come around my neck of the woods!

Anyone near B-ham AL know of quality Blazer or Jimmy?

I assumed the listing was local to Seattle but I saw Auburn and my heart skipped a beat but then the 101 area code brought me back to reality.

They've been trying to sell this for a while now, but they didn't have any photos previously. I emailed them the first time it was listed about 2 months ago, and just got a response about 2 weeks ago telling me that they were relisting it. I'm guessing they aren't computer savvy. They were asking $10K previously. Could be a great rig for someone. Shipping this gem to one of the states in the "rust belt" would be worth while.

Auburn is a small town about 25 minutes south-east of Seattle.

Like I said, I don't think they are very computer literate. If you are serious, I'd call them. Here is their listing from collectorcartraderonline.com
1972 GMC JIMMY, custom, 33K original miles, all original, original factory chalk lines, & fuses, & spark plug wires, etc, removable top, AC, $12, 000 or best offer 253-921-5815 Bonny Lake(253) 921-5815

I called the owner today and the lady seemed eager to sell needs the money to pay for some medical issues Only problem is she needs to sell sooner than later and I'm about 1500 miels away. Anyone on the board know this truck or has seen it please let me know. It's a long way to travel without knowing for sure if the truck is what they describe in the ad

I won't have time to make it down that way for a few weeks. Ya might check with stlookin, I think he is down that way. There are a couple other board members in the Puyallup/Tacoma area and Auburn/Bonney Lake is basically a subburb.

I just got an email back from them from their first post in August. No message, just the photo attached.

I spoke to the owner earlier this evening and it still has not sold
Almost makes you think the vehicle is not what he is describing
If it is then IMHO it is a steal of a deal
He's going to email some more pics later today
But I'm still 1500 miles away and thats to far to travel without knowing for sure and it's to much money to buy the truck sight unseen
If there is anybody in the area that could check out the truck for me shoot me a PM and maybe we can arange something??
I'm defintely interested but difficult to make a deal because of logistics

I wouldn't necessarly think the vehicle isn't as described. I think it is probably more of an issue of getting someone to come up with $11,000 for a 33 year old truck. From what you said and her listing, I'd say she is desprate to sell. Why don't you offer a low, low ball price like $3,000. Even if the truck isn't as nice as described, it would be a killer deal if you could get it for that price.

You should post on http://classicgmtrucks.net/ and see if anyone in that area is willing to check it out for you. I know there are a couple board members on there at are in that area.
