That being the case, driveline angles should be fine.

The other (IMO) good thing about this one as opposed to the GV's, is that once in either gear, it can be left there.
I'll be able to just drive around unloaded shifted into the overdrive gear.
Yes it will be only for 2wd operation but that's fine.

This overdrive will give me roughly a 3:23 final drive when engaged.
Add this to the 33" tall tires and it gives roughly a 3:08 final at the ground.
Sum it all up and it works out to about 2100/2300rpm's @ 65mph.
Id be VERY interested in hearing more about this install, and pics!

Hi all. Been off for awhile cleaning up after the storm. I changed to a 3:07 several
years ago. I pulled off rear end covers in every yard around looking for a 3:07. I
did not ever find one. I mostly found 3:73s with a few 4:11s. I quit because I was beginning to like the smell of burnt rear end oil.

I wound up doing it myself. You have to change the carrier, ring and pinion. I got the
parts from Richmond Gear.

It made a big difference in gas milage. My transmisson is a 3 spd standard. There
are no problems in regular driving. It is hard on the clutch pulling a car trailer.

It made my speedometer about 15 mph slow. I was never able to get this
corrected. I had a small transmisson built but it made the speedometer about
15 mph fast. I did figure out what drive gears I needed but they were no longer
available.
