engine temp Question
I have a slightly built 400 small block and i'm wondering what the normal engine temp should be. Currently it is running in the 140-165 range on average. I live up in the mountians and the air temp's are cooler. I recently put on a 1'' carb spacer and now have a miss at lower rpm's. Could this be becouse the engine is not running hot enough? Also just instaled new plug wires so that is not it. Any advise would be great.. Thanks

engine temp
Not sure on the thermostat, i'm guessing a 160 mabey. As far as the spacer goes I don't really think there is a leak, the motor has had the miss before the spacer was installed it was at a higher running temp and now it misses even when it's colder..
