I thought I would finish up the trim job for seat/leg clearence. I used part of the piece that was removed to help stiffen up the rear panel. Seemed to work good.

I almost didnt know what I was looking at there at first. Did you do all the work with the glass in? How are you going to smooth out the ridges? Nice work!!

I don't think he is. That will give it extra strength. Do you lose any seat movement you were trying to add though?

Could box them in but really not worth the work, besides it makes for a great place to spray a rust preventive coating. The overall gain is still over two and a half inches. Might not sound like much but with long legs every bit helps.

I saw a similar job done on a '67, except the guy covered the entire inside with diamond plate. It was a little over done. What do you have planned for the bare metal?

Just clean up the cab, epoxy prime, and paint. The seat will cover most of the rear panel. Maybe some lightweight sound deadening across the rear, but not diamond plate......
